Very thin diameter of only .08" and has a breaking strength of 450 lbs! This cord is made of Technora, which is an abrasion-resistant, low stretch, high strength material. It also has a PTFE (Teflon) coating, which increases the abrasion resistance and adds UV protection. Strong and light: weight for weight, Technora is 8 times stronger than steel and 3 times stronger than fiberglass, polyester or nylon yarns.
